Well, finally the sun is shining here on the Costa Blanca. :-) Apparently since I have been sailing on the Azamara Quest around Italy, it has not stopped raining and ironically England had a ten day spell of glorious sunshine! I wonder if in the near future, the improved weather will tempt British expiates to return home! You never know!

The Azamara Quest I have to admit has been my favourite cruise thus far. A smaller ship yet friendly approach and I felt very comfortable. Even the Cruise Director Kevin, who is also a professional singer asked if I would sing with him in the farewell show. This was a first for me and we both had great fun singing 'Some Enchanted Evening'. I also had the privilage of meeting a very talented Chinese concert pianist called Tian Jiang (www.tianmusic.com) Not only does he play the piano with excellence and great ease but he also composes and plays his own repertoire. After hearing his original and popular 'Shanghai Dreams' I could not resist the offer of writing an English lyric as a further way of reaching his Asian market. Similar to the success of my Japanese folk song 'Shima Uta' (where I also wrote an English Lyric), 'Shanghai Dreams' in my opinion has the same potential in China. I will keep you posted!

My next adventures in June will also be sailing the mediterranean seas and I am happy to say I will be sharing these experiences with a number of close friends. When I return at the end of the month, I will be back in the studio with Craig Leon to continue recording my fourth classical album. This will take me into August, where I will then be preparing for outdoor CLASSICAL CONCERTS to be held on the Costa Blanca soon after (Dates to be confirmed).

I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a fabulous summer and to wish all of those including your children the best of luck for exams that maybe approaching!!!

Besitos, Izzy x :-)
