 To all my lovely fans!I hope you are keeping well? Unfortunately from my last message, I like many others came down with the flue. It was directly after returning from South America and walking into freezing temperatures that set it off and took weeks to overcome.... I even lost my voice, which was a challenge I have to admit! However I celebrated another birthday with some of my family and friends here on the Costa Blanca and enjoyed some time out to heal, riding my bicycle in the Orange Campo and getting plenty of fresh air. Just in time to recharge the batteries before my latest adventure: THE AMAZON! I had the privilege of singing on board The Seabourne 'Pride' that consisted of 165 guests only. With a combination of European and American cliental, this private yaht was a joy to sail on and sailing through the Amazon completed this truly remarkable experience. Albeit the rainy season, there was a magical feeling that penetrated through me as we quietly sailed through this twisty terrain. A number of young local children would risk all, to canoe, as close to the ship as possible with the hope one of us would throw a plastic bag with goodies inside for them. Just the mystical sounds alone coming from the jungle soothed my every being and if you were lucky on occasion you might be fortunate to witness the 'Pink' Dolphin. The highlight of my stay would have to be my jungle adventure, interacting with nature and the local people from the Amazon, followed by a beach party at night and alligator seeking in the canoes! (See my Gallery for updated pictures) It is at moments like this that you are reminded how precious life truly is and how fortunate we all are.
