Dear Fans,

I cant believe six whole months have passed. We have lots of catching up to do!

April 4th I sailed the 'Splendor of the Seas'  crossing the Atlantic from Brazil to Portugal. Little did I know that 90% of the passengers all spoke Portuguese which then prompted me to prepare my show in their language. Thanks to a Brazilian dancer in the Production Team and a humble piece of paper I referred to during my performance, I became a big hit over night! All I can say is 'Obligado!'

As some of you may be aware I am a qualified professor in Singing and this year in between my travels and teaching my regular students, I have introduced Private Vocal Master Classes here on the Costa Blanca. They have also proved to be popular for the holiday makers who enjoy learning the skills of singing but also relaxing in this glorious sunshine..... The perfect combination!

Vocal Master Classes offer Singing Tuition that include Warm up, Correct Posture, Technique, Aural training, General Musicianship, Harmonies, Sight Reading, Improvisation, Interpretation, Song writing and exploring  the world of Song structure and form – All of which you can record and add to your daily routine. Master Classes to help find your voice, exploring all styles & genres of singing, choosing the right songs for you, conquering stage fright, learning the magic of performance and finally gaining confidence and a clearer picture in what you may want to achieve in the future. Performance singing contrasting songs one has prepared during the vocal workshop and being adjudicated with a certificate to be presented at the end! Studio Sessions should you wish to record your voice and Professional Advice for those who want to take their voices to another level be it Education, Vocal Auditions or Record Deals. Finally, for the holiday makers some valuable Free Time to walk or cycle in the orange fields and mountains, visit the seaside, towns, local villages and restaurants and above all swimming (weather  permitting).

April 20th I sailed the 'Brilliance of the Seas'  leaving from Barcelona (one of my favorite cities) and on May 9th I sang on the 'Independence of the Seas' . You might be seeing a pattern emerging here, these ships are ALL

Royal Caribbean International Cruises..... and I love them. Can you believe that some of the larger ships have not only the capacity of 1,500 in the theatre for all the shows including mine, but also an ice rink where they put on the most incredible entertainment!  And too my surprise over the few years I have been doing this, I have learned that the overall entertainment is EXCELLENT and of a very high standard! Truly inspiring.

May 29th on the 'Jewel of the Seas' I took a Baltic cruise for the very first time and on June 19th I was asked to sing on the 'Crown Princess' also my first time. One of my highlights over the Summer would have to be sailing the new ship 'Solstice Celebrity' where my mother accompanied me. As you can imagine we had a blast! Shopping till were dropping at beautiful ports such as Kusadasi (Turkey) Rhodes & Santorini... AAAAaaahhhhhH! :-)

On my return I took a little summer break where I was able to catch up with friends and family and do some sailing of my own including a jam packed day at Aqualandia!!! (Water Sports Adventure Park)  It's got to be done!!!

July 30th, another favorite. I sailed the Atlantic on the Good Old Queen Mary II and for any of you who were able to make my concert in Spain last year, you may recall the very talented guitarist Robin Hill, a dear friend who was present on the QM2 at the same time. Every time this occurs we always make a point of performing together loving every moment of it.

Back just in time for my local fiestas before setting off for the new 'Seabourne Odyssey', a totally different feel altogether with a mere 400-500 passengers - VERY CLASSY!

Another Baltic Cruise on the 'Jewel' in August followed by the 'Vision of the Seas', both in Spain and then returning just recently to Israel where I had the amazing privilege of visiting Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Yes I wrote a prayer on a small piece of paper and found a tiny crack in the wailing wall. I walked the trail of Jesus and where he was nailed to the cross and I visited the manger where Jesus was born. All in all an overwhelming experience and one I am very grateful of. Had I not been working on a cruise, I ask myself - would I have visited Bethlehem? Who knows.... I just know this, I am a very fortunate young lady and not one day goes by without me thanking my lucky stars! :-)

Robin Hill and I hooked up again in Ibiza last month to perform for a beach festival and it looks like it might be a regular booking. (Will keep you posted) As for any local gigs here on the Costa Blanca as you can probably see now, I have been incredibly busy! I must assure all of you that my head is already cooking up some exciting ideas for the near future, you will not be disappointed and will be the first to know about it.

Which brings us to now - October. I sail on the 'Independence' once again at the end of the month followed by a repeat performance on the 'Seabourne Pride' in Egypt. Before you know it, it will be Christmas time where I will write again.

In the meantime, Happy Halloween and all of that, please reply at any time if you have any thoughts or questions etc. I would love to hear from you.

Besos, Izzy x  :-)

PS. I want to personally thank those of you who have continued to support me over the last few years, especially those who have booked cruises to tie in with my itinerary and also come to private concerts held on the Cost Blanca. You can't imagine how much this means to me, like we performers often say "the audience gives us food and without the nutrition we are nothing" MANY THANKS x x x
